On Wednesday in Brookings students are excused from school at 2:22 p.m. Teachers use the time between 2:22 and 4:00 as School Improvement Time. During this time teachers may collaborate to create interdisciplinary units, write curriculum or participate in a variety of in-service programs offered by the district.
